In reply to: 's message, "Estimate of $$$ to compete" on Tuesday, December 05, 08:47:00am

Thank you :) I guess I should have clarified. Wardrobe, coaching, trainers, H&M, spray tan, and any other incidentals aside, if a girl wins or prelim or goes at-large (teen) how much should she expect to pay to be a a part of the competition itself? Are there entry fees or are they simply required to raise a certain amount for CMN? How many ad pages are they required to sell? How much are the ad pages? And are there any other costs associated directly with being a participant in the state pageant? Thanks

Unfortunately, there is much more to it than an entry fee. The entry fee is usually paid by the prelim director. It is very expensive to be competitive.Honestly, to be competitive, 9 ad pages totaling $2,700. This gets your opening outfit and fitness outfit paid. Top 5 for CMN is an average of between around 5,000 to 10,000 raised . To be competitive, some type of coaching which can be hundreds depending on who you use.The week of hotel costs, workshop weekend hotel and tickets,1,000 to 2,000 for HMU and headshots are all the contestants responsibility, too.
[> [> Subject: Thank you. This is the kind of information I am looking for.- CMN/ Ad page requirements & expectations. I've done some non-MAO pageants and would love to try a prelim, but I know the first question my parents will ask is "How Much?" and then the second question will be, "Okay! And what happens if you win and how much will that cost?" Gotta be ready for them!! ;) Thanks for your help
