 I believe you are absolutely correct, true spiritualist. Non of the people attending the open circle are qualified spiritual guides. Some of them say that they hear, see or sense spirit, but what spirits are they communicating with? To believe that their activities are done in an atmosphere of 'truth and love' is naive to say the least. Who knows what is true and what is not? Just because a person exists in the spirit realms doesn't mean their knowledge and advice is any more useful than anybody else's. And as for the so called 'mediums', they are heading in the wrong direction with their self importance and are puffed up with ego to the point of bursting. As for the ppl who attend the circle with mental health issues, they, like alcoholics, cannot see their illness and firmly believe that what they are 'picking up' from others is nothing more than a projection of their own distorted and deluded minds. There ought to be legislation against it because it is, in my view, delving into and propagating madness. For all those people who are looking for answers in these difficult times, the only place where life is to be lived is in the here and now. Life is always now and never not now. For those seeking comfort in memories from deceased loved ones, I am sorry but the past is nothing but a memory, gone forever, and for those seeking messages about the future, the future is unknown and depends entirely on the present. So why do we need 'mediums' and what purpose do they serve except to disempower people and offer them false hope? As for John Durrant, he has gotten his feet well under the table at Daulby Street as he did many years ago at PTS Aigburth. I'm afraid the Committee are comprised of lambs to the slaughter and power hungry control freaks with dangerous ego's. People should be made aware.
