Ok I understand your point of view. But If you were here the year before the removal of those hoops then you would remember the problem did exist the year before at the same time the kids went back at school and through the and partially through winter as well. I think and I can not be sure that someone presented police record the last time to that effect.

My complaint is a lot of people are clamoring and making a stink about this but are not willing to get their own hands dirty. Hey Brian has asked repeatedly for volunteers for a neighborhood watch. Here is the ironic part he needed 10 names to get police backing. Only 5 showed up and those were the ones that were against the hoops. not one person in favor wanted to be a part of that. I look at it this way and you may think differently. How can I trust a decision and agree with a decision for courts remaining if those that are in favor will not lift a finger to volunteer to help preserve the rights and safety of others. I would gladly love to see them there. But like I said so far nothing has worked and only a handful are willing to step up to the plate and be of service. If they were and the issue went away then I would say fine . I concede the hoops can stay. But as of now all I hear is words like I did last year. Some token gestures that are half hearted and need no real involvement. That will not solve anything. And honestly I lived in areas where issues like that kept spiraling out of control. I hate to see this happen all over again. I moved here to embrace the small town values sadly others are moving in to change it .
