Some fans report that Brian and Keith wrote Ruby Tuesday, and Mick Jagger had nothing to do with it...the same for Satisfaction.

Mick himself is on record as saying he had nothing to do with RT. And about the song being written by Brian with a little help from Keith, I was very dubious at first but I am now pretty much convinced that it is true. They may not be as bad as Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, but the Glimmers haven't exactly been shy about "appropriating" song writing credits over the years.

I think that "Satisfaction" is pretty much Keith's song. I'm not sure how much of a contribution Jagger brought to this one.

Mick Taylor often claimed to have helped Mick Jagger write 4 Stones songs and having done one completely on his own.

I've never heard about the one he supposedly wrote on his own, but I have read, in his own words, where he said that he co-wrote 4 songs with Mick J and that Keith wasn't even in the studio when they did. The songs were "Sway", "Can't You Hear Me Knocking", "Moonlight Mile" and "Time Waits for No One". I am convinced that he is telling the truth. I'm also pretty sure that he could have added at least a couple more to the list. Songs such as "100 Years Ago" and "Hide Your Love" come to mind.

Now he seems to be denying all that.

Maybe he has simply decided to put it behind him. No sense in letting things you can't do anything about eat you up.
