"Well, I do not wish to generalize or blame. I am concerned about the future of His work."

Oh, His work is spreading like wildfire! Don't worry about that. It's a divine work that cannot be held back by anything.

"Yoganandaji founded an organization - SRF - as the primary vehicle to perpetuate his teachings and disseminate his writings and lessons"

This is possibly true, but I doubt that he founded it as the ONLY vehicle. How can one organization hold the entire ocean? I once met a Christian saint, who had followers, and who to my eyes was a true saint- a really exceptional spiritual soul. He was not part of the Catholic church. The Catholic church is still probably the primary means of spreading Christianity, but surely not the ONLY one.

"The authority to teach now - after Yogananandaji's passing - is vested in SRF; that is how Yoganandaji set it up."

I believe he vested individuals. I believe he vested SRF only to the extent that he vested individuals there. I believe he is pleased with others who spread his work outside the organization- only because I have seen and met some of them.

"My test remains - would Yoganandaji have approved of Kriyananda leaving shortly after initiation to found another organization?"

This didn't happen while Yogananda was alive, or shortly after Kriyananda received initiation. Does Yogananda approve of what has happened? There's lots of disagreement on this (to put it mildly), but I know what I have seen with other Kriya Yogis outside of SRF. This is not an Ananda/Walters issue for me, because I have met different ones.

And to nojdw and ketch- I know you will post your usual in response to this. Please do. But I'm not here to get involved in your issues. The principal is far more important, and interesting to me, than the emotional and personal venting.
