I'm sorry to sound like an obstructionist, but actually, most of the stuff I learned from my friend's brief contact with the former Miss Thorogood has already been put forth here. You already seem to have the idea anyway. It was a couple of years ago, and I can only remember the essence of the conversation, since Bob wasn't really a Brian fan, just a curious "conspiracy theorist" who never believed that ANYTHING was ever what it seemed to be on the surface.

Perhaps it may be new to you that Jan (as that seems to be her name) confirmed that Frank and Brian got along a lot better than the "legend" is indicating. Frank didn't even trust the two men who worked for him, and felt they would endanger his daughter. She indicated he felt they were sort of a pair of hoodlums who couldn't get a more mentally stimulating job. He also didn't trust Keylock, and would never have "confessed" anything to the man, even if it were true! Frank may not have been buddies with Brian, but he felt the star was harmless, and put up with things being stolen from his house...even right in front of his nose...without being able to do anything about getting the theives out of there.

I guess that pegs Brian as an easy victim, but OldSpice portrays him very differently. This is why I'm still on the fence about what his "method of death" is really saying about his last day on Earth.
