Oops, in all the hooplah I forgot about the Anita question.

SOMETHING was up with that girl, but not knowing her history, and just why she wanted to be a Rolling Stones girlfriend, rather than just ANY rock band's girlfriend, I find her to be an enigma.

She obviously didn't choose Brian, as Bent Rej said in his book, but he "took over" when Bent walked in the door with her...since he was girl-less at the time, while the others were either married or going steady. She also obviously never came to "love" him either. Unlike Linda Lawrence, who appeared to love him deeply (he really messed THAT up!). Anita seemed all the time to be more attracted to Keith than Brian...something people say Brian was aware of. Unfortunately, her love of drugs more than matched Brian's, and maybe even exacerbated it, who knows, but they weren't good for each other. I understand that 10 years later a judge told her and Keith, that THEY were a bad influence on each other. What does THAT tell us?

Speaking of drugs did you check with the BJFC web site periodicals section? They posted a newspaper clipping of her coming out of the grocery store. It says she's 65 in the pictures, and I'm 65. Ummmmm. I hope I don't look like that before I'm at least 95. Sustance abuse doesn't do much for one's appearance...Brian was proof of that. All the beauty she won those men with is LONG gone, and she's more than just old before her time, she's ancient.
