"You see, as I go through this big adventure that we call life, I find that my perspective widens all of the time. What once was distant and inconceivable now becomes close and a possibility. What once was strange and different now becomes familiar and normal..."

Apparantly so - this was me just BS-ing you. This is so high handed and full of crap - I thought it was obvious that I was just talking (writing) just to hear (see) myself talk (write).

Now, you've got 3 other people in this very thread who are "from" Columbus (actually the Waymansville area but who's heard of Waymansville). None of us hunt deer. I have a truck, but I mostly bought it for the investment value (they hold their value better than comparably-priced cars) and I detest beer. My dad has a truck and he is a political liberal. He never really drinks beer, though. Perhaps you are a little too liberal in your use of liberal. Did you mean politically liberal? Or, did you just mean people who drink white wine spritzers, go antique-ing and drive luxury Japanese sedans. Really, that has nothing to do with liberal and I'm sure you meet enough of those people at your store every day.

Isn't it amazing how we can stake out positions on nearly any topic and go to mat?
