Not at all - I did not say that academic goodies were irrelevant - I Said that you and the high mucky-muck of academia had made themselves irrelevant - which is why YOU are frustrated. And fyi, I would love to see that change. It would make my job much easier. You are in a position to make changes from within and have the credentals that will get you in doors that are closed to many of us without a Ph. D - which I said in the post that you are talking about.
Agree or disagree is up to you - but I tell you that until the higher academicians listen to those on the firing line, our kids are going to suffer.
