  So this year i didn’t dance due to an injury but i came with a friend who’s dancing in senior ladies and i Decided to peak into the senior men’s comp while she was waiting. Did anyone else think the senior men’s recall was all over the place ? Watching the competition many had the same recalls as i was thinking then recalls are posted and 4 of the men didn’t recall but dancers who walked their third steps because they were winded did?! Genuinely confused on watch the judges were watching and its no wonder this organization is falling apart.

  Are these judges more likely to give preference to dancers from their own respective countries? I have met previous Australian judges before who gave Australian dancers significantly higher than others in the panel, and consistently gave Australian dancers the 100 over their competitors, regardless of dancing on the day.   Curious about anyone’s experience with in person (greater NYC area) or online core training for Irish dance. My daughter is a novice dancer, but with core weakness causing poor posture and pronation (resolved medical thing).
  
  She loves dancing, and we’ve exhausted insurance eligible PT. So now we are trying to decide between continuing PT, some sort of personal training, or Irish dance training focused on core/ turnout. Basically we want to be sure she is improving, but sort of move away from the “medical” aspect to something fun! Our school does not do private lessons for beginner/ novice dancers. She is elementary age.
  
  Would love anyone’s perspective or experiences, I know this is very niche! Experiences with some of the online trainings would be great too. Thank you!!

  I want to start out by saying that I have no skin in this game. My daughter was not at this competition but is in the age group. I also want to state that the Senior Ladies group - in all regions - only seems to be getting stronger. At any major, the top 5, top 10, even the top 15 could rotate at any major competion.
  
  Having said that, in looking at the results from All Irelands for Senior Ladies, they recalled 50 (standard protocol) but the results show that 35 have WQ next to their name. Even with Irish Points and fuzzy feis math, it is not making sense.
  
  Were there that many WMH holders, or were they taking into account who had WQ's at Nans or their Oireachtas? Just curious as to how this came about?

  I read a comment posted a few weeks ago but now unable to reply to it. The person mentioned CRC Adult camp being second fiddle to the kids, disorganized and frustrating to attend... Do anyone feel this way? Have you had a poor expereince.
  
  I can see both sides to your point but also want to learn more...I've noticed in pictures there seems to be a very small group of campers which from running my own business, if money isn't coming in than how can they put money out? Would you be willing to share on your moments of frustration? What is disorganized how the classes run or the people who run the camp?
  
  I am intersted in going but worrisome to put out the money if it frustrating and disorganized to those attending? Seems to be a bad business model, no? Any info you are willing to share would be helpful! I did notice the price cut this year, and maybe it's less days, but means I can go without missing so many days of work and being a MOM

  Plenty of friendly families who will share wristbands and many hotel staff will happily give you a wristband if you explain your situation. Absolutely no need to pay a facility fee especially for rooms nowhere near the Gaylord. They already covered the block so the facility fee is just extortion at this point. Security might be a little tight in the morning of day 1 but they give up a couple hours in. Just say you’ve left your wristband inside and show your dancer’s number. They will let you through.
