Subject: Hey! Does anyone here HATE Pokemon?

Okay. Here's the story . . .

My little brother (9-year-old)is obsessed with Pokemon. He watches the show and has the cards, video games, stuffed animals, action figures, comic books, etc. It is sickening! I thought that it was just a phase! I was wrong.

He got into it as soon as it came out on TV. For a while after his first 'hype' over it, he got out of it for a while -probably because I tore up all the cards that I had saved(thinking they might be worth something if I were to find some rare ones and the sell them) and told him that it was evil - But then, he got back into it again about 6 months later because his new friend is obsessed with it! This is getting ridiculous. Even my parents try to tell him that he's addicted, but he doesn't care!

I'm afraid that he may be lured into the occult because: 1.) liked Pokemon first of all, 2.) then came Dragon Ball, 3.) then Dragon Ball Z, 4.) now other kinds of anime (Yugio, Inu Yasha and other demonic animes)! In the beginning, he didn't like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball, Z, etc. because he said that those shows were 'stupid' and 'evil'. Do I sense the compromise of one's beliefs? The TV has become my brother's teacher. I wish that my parents would teach him more about the Bible. I have tried to teach him some and I even bought him a Bible, but he doesn't read it because he is interested in modern, worldly distractions.

So, that is why I hate Pokemon. Anyone else want to share?
