When our children are faced with things unnacceptable to God, we can either turn a deaf ear, or we can guide our children toward righteousness. Cesorship plays a role in the latter. God told us not to use his name in vain. He gave us the free will to do so, but that doesn't mean its the right thing to do. I'd want my children to know that because it is not right, it will not be tolerated. Television and most of the entertainment industry does not follow the morals set forth by God, obviously. They follow man-made morals which are bending more and more liberally every year. Before I was a believer in Christ, I was very liberal in my thinking, and didn't see any reason to censor nudity or language. Now I see every reason to.
